Here’s a beautiful example of a watch that came before the famous Royal Oak showing the change of shapes in the 60s/70s field, powered by the movement that changed everything for AP the JLC based cal.2120 extra flat automatic. On top of these historical facts that make this watch collectable we have here available an example with a unique patina on the dial that looks like a “peacock” or “spider web effect” under the suns light.
This Audemars Piguet is in overall excellent, honest condition. The case have some light scratches. The “AP Steel” on the caseback is clearly visible. There’s some patina on the caseback. The case is remarkably crisp in general.
The dial is clean with a very light patina to the matte finish throughout. The dial has a little wear around the edge. The hands have developed a light patina.
