Roger Dubuis “Sympathie” is a distinctive lady’s wristwatch defined by its Art Deco heritage. Its character is expressed through a multi-faceted, polygonal cushion-shaped case, which is polished and satin-finished for a refined texture. This two-piece case is water-resistant and features an ‘officier’-style sapphire crystal back, secured by eight screws, allowing a view of the movement within. The attached lugs are elegantly curved in a straight-line design.
The pristine white dial is adorned with sophisticated details: applied white gold, suspended Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, complemented by radiating lapidated indexes. A playful yet elegant touch is added by a small red heart motif at eight o’clock. Time is indicated by slender, white gold ‘Feuille’ or leaf-shaped hands.
Powering this exquisite timepiece is the manually-wound Calibre RD 18. This movement is distinguished by bearing the Geneva Seal (Poinçon de Genève), a hallmark certifying the highest standards of craftsmanship, finishing, and precision originating from its Geneva manufacture.
